ForTen 2000 is the brand new version with hundred of improvements and
new features. Non Linear Formfinder Constraints like fixed length links,
fixed stresses fixed sag ratio for cables and fixed undeformed length.
Beam elements are processed in a linear way after formfinding and
nonlinear analysis. Bending moments and shear forces are then plotted.
New DataBase Explorer A full Database of more than 4000 steel sections
and 20 type of materials , all membrane types included too.

A fabric structure is modelled using a mesh of linear elements connected to nodes.
There is no limit to the size or connectivity of the mesh or the number of nodes.
Each node has X,Y,Z coordinates and six degrees of freedom tx,ty,tz,rx,ry,rz .
Each linear element has a number of properties (material, C Coefficient, cross section etc.)
