LinPro 2.7.2 - Simple application for static and dynamic analysis of plane frames






Recently it was posted, in the "Civil Engineering Discussion / Problems
/ Which structural Analysis Software?" In post # 48 by hamid266 two
software references. One of them is an interesting free program for
learning and educational purpose, object of this posting.
A great friend, our forum colleague and knowledgeable dynamics of
structure, was kind enough to check a quality and integrity of the
program results. Annex the report of the checking, showing us the

Linpro 2.7.2 is a FREE simple application for static and dynamic analysis of plane frames.

Static analysis: Program supports different types of loads and is very
flexible at creating structure. It has almost everything you need for
linear static analysis of plane frames.

Modal analysis: Program calculates natural frequencies and mode shapes of a structure.

Dynamic analysis: In order to determine dynamic response of a structure
LinPro performs linear time-history analysis. As a solution method
LinPro uses mode superposition method.
