With the ArchiWall add-on, you can add "overlaid-structures" to
normalArchiCAD walls, transforming simple prismatic blocks into
multiform constructionelements.
The elements created are single instances of a library part which
interacts with the add-on, but can also be used independently, although
with some limitations.
This allows you, for example, to send your project to a colleague who
does not have ArchiWall, without the risk of supplying him with an
incomplete image.
You just have to remember to send him the ArchiWall library as well, or
to save the project in Archive format.
The element created by ArchiWall has all the geometric characteristics
of the original wall, including trims to roofs and openings created for
doors and windows. The object maintains a link with the original wall,
with the possibility of automatic (in real time) or manual updating,
but the link is not binding. Unlike ArchiCAD "Accessories" objects,
ArchiWall objects can remain present and functional, even if you decide
to delete the wall used to create them.

Archimaterial allowes a new managing of ArchiCAD's surface materials,
organizing them in a pecking order (definable by the user) defining
some favorites and using the drag and drop technique that allows to
select the material preview to drag it on the element we want to place
it on.
A simple procedure allows to generate textures without tiling and
images to be used for bump-mapping effects, transparency, etc...

Working method
The first and probably the main function of ArchiMaterial pertains to
the managing of the material of every single element of the project:
the first icon of ArchiMaterial's palette opens the Materials Tracker
that allows to check and modify:
-the materials assigned at every selected element's parameter;
-the materials of several elements contemporaneously (for example Columns and Walls);
-the different components of every material (color, texture, fill)
-the name of the associated fill and texture.

To be considered: the possibility to see the textures used by the Open
GL engine for the 3D view and the ArchiCAD rendering engine, or the
ones used by LightWorks engine.

The different materials that are in the project can be seen as a
preview (all the materials of the file or only your Favorite ones), or
in a hierarchical list.
A little example can explain better the potential of this tool: let's
imagine to manage the materials of an object from the 3D view, choosing
from the hierarchical list...
Otherwise, disabling the Element/component filter toggle, you can
modify a material setting just with a drag&drop, regardless of
number and type of elements to which it's associated: if a building is
designed to be yellow and then you decide white is better, it's quite
obvious that there are many walls, slabs and columns settings to
change... with ArchiMaterial it's just one command.

ArchiMaterial allowes to deal with great semplicity both Favorite and
the Hierarchical lists, and the eyedropper and the syringe functions
are simple too, they let you transfer materials (only them) from an
object to another, for example two doors with dimensions, opening side,
and other different parameters that have use the same materials in
their different components.

With ArchiMaterial you can create a Texture from a picture, maybe taken
on site, even with an unwanted perspective, ArchiMaterial can
straighten it.

Sometimes the opposite result is necessary, you may not want to see the
ordinary tiling effect on your texture, so you should use a photo
editor software to trim the picture perfectly.
ArchiMaterial can create textures without tiling very simply, just one
click and it's not all: with the same simplicity you can obtain the
Bump Mapping effect.

ArchiFaçade is a Plug-in that allows perspective images (photographs of
façades, objects, etc.) to be transformed in order to correct, or
"straighten" them.
Based on the principles of projective geometry, ArchiFaçade uses the
appropriate mathematical transformations to remove perspective
distortions from an image until a rectified version is generated.

ArchiFaçade's Tool Palette can be opened when necessary and is used
just like any other palette, providing a simple and rapid way to
correct the perspective of a building.

Obtaining the undistorted image of a tall building - perhaps one with
elaborate mouldings and other architectural elements - is a lengthy and
difficult task. The most rapid and efficient solution involves
digitalising your photograph and then, with the help of ArchiFaçade,
transforming it into a "straightened" image in which the measurements
of the individual parts correspond to the exact proportions of the
actual structure.
ArchiFaçade provides two simple methods for correcting perspective
images, both of which require just a few measurements.

With the first method, the real coordinates of four points of the
structure (measurements taken on-site) are indicated on the photograph
that has been imported into the Floor Plan.
With the second method, first a significantly sized horizontal or
vertical segment of the actual façade is indicated on the photograph.
Then, on the same plane, two points are extended from the end points of
the segment to apply the triangulation technique.

The program allows any unnecessary parts to be deleted from the bitmap,
so that images can be refined and adjusted as desired.
Lastly, ArchiFaçade provides a simple graphic procedure for converting
photographic images into ArchiCAD library parts, allowing them to be
reused in photorealistic settings.
With a few simple and quick calculations, photographs of people, trees,
wings of buildings or any other type of image can be inserted into 3D
models without GDL scripting or the use of other programs.

ArchiSketchy is a new extension that uses API technology to add new
functions to ArchiCAD. This Plug-In was designed to allow ArchiCAD
users to transform regular computer drawn projects into warmer hand
drawn style designs. The road is open to creativity, with the
possibility to elaborate and personalize your project in a style that
resembles hand drawn designs done with a pencil and pen, but without
the smudges or imperfections.

Work method
ArchiSketchy is very easy to use, simply select the drawing to be
transformed (whether it is from the plan, Section/Elevation window, or
3D) and choose, from the ArchiSketchy menu, the type of transformation
desired.
In the dialogue window of ArchiSketchy, there is the possibility of
choosing between seven different transformation styles, where the pens,
lines, fills and text of each of these transformations can be
personalised by the user.

In addition, there is the possibility of choosing which element types
to convert, the minimum size of the transformed lines and the layer on
which the elaborated drawing will be positioned, as well as a series of
settings that once personalized, can be saved and recalled at any time.
To make ArchiSketchy even more unique and personalized, the user can
add a background texture similar to the grain of various paper.
Once the type of transformation has been set, the drawing can be stored
in the window of origin or in an independent window where it can be
either printed or saved in PMK format.
For further control of the elaborated drawing, the design can be
transformed into an object so that it can be changed in size or used in
different projects.
It is important to remember that ArchiSketchy elaborated drawings are
vectorial and can be re-modified at any time.

ArchiTabula is an ArchiCAD plug-in for creating or importing tables of
text or numbers into ArchiCAD. The table contents can be processed into
grid form or, if conditions allow, into graph or diagram form with a
wide range of customized formats.
The contents of the tables created and arranged on the sheet can be
updated at any moment without losing the formatting.
The elements placed on the sheet are library parts, maintaining a
dynamic connection with the data file. They are directly updated when
the original document is modified.

Work method
The first step to start work with ArchiTabula is to activate the tools
palette. To do this just open the ArchiTabula menu and select the
Display ArchiTabula palette option. The command is available from any
2D window (Plan and Section/Elevation).
The palette consists of six buttons serving six different functions.
The first Create/Modify Spreadsheet allows you to create electronic
sheets for the insertion of information containing text, numbers and
mathematical formulae. The method of use is similar to a normal
worksheet, the only limitation, due to API development space, is the
size of the sheet composed of 128 lines and 64 columns.

ArchiTabula allows you to open files in tabulated text format, the save
format for ArchiCAD Calculation Lists, and to save them in .SLV format
after processing and insert them as objects in the ArchiCAD work plan.
Another ArchiTabula function is the Calculator, similar to a
conventional one, but with added features which make it popular among
users: the option of memorizing up to eleven numbers, visible in the
lateral extension panel of the calculator and easy to call up; the Read
Length and Read Area buttons which allow you to read data relating to
the size of 3D and 2D elements in the plan or in the
sections/elevations. There is a double data reading method, or rather
you can first select the elements on the plan and then activate the
reading functions, or vice versa. These values can also be memorized in
the calculator display.

Spreadsheets can also be created with ArchiTabula using the Spreadsheet Object tool.
The reference files are those previously created in .SLV format and are
opened directly in the dialogue window. You can also set a series of
graphic features in the same window like the background color of the
spreadsheet or the font. The spreadsheet on the plan is an ArchiCAD
object and as such can be reopened and modified.
It is quick and easy to choose the type of graph you want to display,
thanks to a series of icons in the settings window. As for
spreadsheets, all the information for graphs regarding the fonts, size
and display colors can be set.
The Caption Object function creates a caption with a predefined
structure, divided into boxes, which change size according to the data
inserted. There is also the option of displaying a personal logo with
adjustable size and position. The font type used can vary from box to
box. After setting, the caption can be saved and placed on the plan as
an object.

This plug-in provides you with all of the tools necessary for creatingas-built surveys within ArchiCAD.
Its tools for designing and placing doors and windows allow you to
quickly and easily draw an as-built survey and convert it into a 3D
model made up of parametric ArchiCAD elements.

Work method
With the Room tool, using the same logic as if youwere doing a freehand
sketch, you design the rooms being surveyed on the Floor Plan
(rectangular, L-shaped or freeform) and add any necessary notes or
information. Next you define the positions of doors and windows, using
either a generic type (single or double door) or choosing one from the
ArchiCAD Library.
Using the Trilateration tool, you insert the diagonals in the room to
block the as-built survey geometrically; if there are intersecting
diagonals, ArchiMap lets you define which ones are primary and which
are secondary.
Furthermore, you can define a 90° angle between two walls or insert
hotspots inside, outside or along the sides of the room being surveying
(for example, for placing a pillar or to define the position of an
element on a wall).
The Measurements tool lets you insert the lengths of the room's sides
or diagonals either individually or in sequence.
You can input the measurements manually or by interfacing directly with
Leica's DistoTM Plus laser distance meter (via a BlueTooth connection).

ArchiForma by Cigraph is enables object creation within ArchiCAD.
ArchiForma gives you an additional palette of powerful tools and is
just like using any other simple ArchiCAD function. You won't even
realize you're using a Plug-in. All commands and functions on the
ArchiForma Palette can be used on both the Floor Plan Worksheet and the
ArchiCAD 3D Window.

The ArchiForma Palette is divided into four main sections consisting of
commands and functions required for creating or modifying objects.
These include:
1. Simple 3D primitives
2. 3D forms generated from 2D outlines (groups of lines, arcs, lines and arcs, fills)
